This story is about creating a design system from scratch and linking it to React code for managing four brands.
As a solo designer on the development team at Day1Company, the Korean equivalent of Coursera, I started building a design system to increase development speed. I collaborated with 20 developers and a designer to develop and improve the design system, applying it to five web products and one mobile product. The design system is utilized on 160 sprints over two and a half years.

Lemonade's adult language education service experienced rapid growth, doubling in size. To expand into overseas markets and launch three different brands, the team hired one to two monthly developers and developed products in sprints lasting one to two weeks. Inner six months, two more designers would join the group.
